Safe Mode for all Samsung phones!!

Just like in PC you can boot into safe mode in Android!! You dont need a rooted phone for this!!

Safemode is used for uninstalling a misbehaving app which caused bootloop or force closing or any other type!!

It is almost same as your phone right now with a banner of safemode!!




Steps:-

1. Switch off your phone

2. Switch it on! When the first image that is "Samsung 'your model' "appears do not press any button!

3. When the boot animation starts press the left sensor key and hold for few second. You will get 2 vibrations! A short one first and long one later!


4. Now you are into safe mode! You can see a banner showing safe mode in the bottom!!

5. Browse for the misbehaving app and uninstall it! Or any other idea you have with safe mode! :-P

6. To switch back to normal, switch off yoyr phone and restart it & dont press any keys now!!!!


Works in all Stock and Custom (almost!) rom!!

No chance of bootloop!!

Dragon fire/ sysctl: Anti-lag and Battery tweaks by Abdul Rozaq Optimizer

Today afternoon while I was asking people about their CPU settings I got a new MOD (sysctl trick) personally created by Abdul Rozaq Optimizer in facebook !




I tried it for myself and found it very useful!!

Requires root!!

Features:-

1. Anti lag - Reduces lag very much! Almost 90%
And increases CPU speed

2. Battery tweaks - Some tweaks to save battery!

Steps and Requirements:-
1. Rooted phone (click here to know how to root)

2. CWM

3. Dragonfire zip (place it in root; not in any folder)

Steps to install:-

1.Switch off your phone and go to recovery mode by holding volume up+home+power button simultaneously!

2. Patch CWM by locating and opening it!

3. Go to Mounts and storage and mount system

4. Go back, locate the dragonfire zip and install it!!

5. Go back clear cache!!

6. Reboot your phone and enjoy!!!

Use seeder for further lag reducing!

Empty your battery to zero and then charge it to full to have a good battery health after flashing the zip!

Works in stock/custom rom!!

Overclock Galaxy Y to 900mhz easily!!!

Yea!! You can use your Galaxy Y at 900mhz frequency!!

Galaxy Y comes with a processor of 832mhz frequency! It shows a lot of lags for the new games and gets stuck lot of times!! Force close and many!! But through Overclocking you can minimize it but it cannot be nullified!!

For those who don't know what is OVERCLOCKING, Wikipedia says this;

"Overclocking is the process of
making a computer or component
operate faster than the clock
frequency specified by the
manufacturer by modifying system
parameters. One of the most
important techniques is running at a
higher clock rate (more clock cycles
per second; hence the name
"overclocking"), but other
parameters, such as CPU multiplier
and memory timings, can also be
changed and would be considered to
be overclocking. Operating voltages
may also be changed (increased),
which can increase the speed at
which operation remains stable.
Most overclocking techniques
increase power consumption,
generating more heat, which must
be dispersed if the chip is to remain
operational."

By this the games will have less lags and the phone will be a bit fast!!

Now for the steps & instructions!!

What you need??

1.A Rooted Device

2.Overclock zip file (get it here

3.CPU master or Set CPU (get it from playstore or here

4.CWM if you dont have!!


Steps:-

1. Download the required files and place it in root of sd card! Not in any folder!!

2.Switch off the phone and go to recovery mode by holding volume up+power+home button simultaneosly!!

3. Now go to install zip from sd

4. Locate CWM and open it!!

5. Now go to install zip from sd

6. Choose zip from sd

7. Locate and chose the zip file!! Click install!

8. Reboot your phone!

9. Install CPU master and open it!!

10. Select scaling as PERFORMANCE!!
And extend the bar to 900mhz and apply!!

Thats it!!!! Enjoy!!
Alternate method if the above method is not WORKING!! 1. Download the file and place in root 2. Goto recovery mode > clear data then clear cache 3. Go to install from zip 4. Locate the overclock file and install it!! 5. Download CPU master and select performance. Extend bar to 900mhz!!
Note: You might find your battery draining faster after this!! So lower the frequency when you are not using the device for gaming and multitasking!!

A Solution to Android's back sensor button problem!!

Ofcourse many of you might have faced problem with the back sensor button of your android not responding unless it is an actual button like some Sony mobiles! Here a solution to it!





This looks like the real buttons of Official ICS Nexus phone!! You can even customise its colour and size & many more!!

The back button of galaxy y and the same series phone stop responding due to long use, improper placement of the screen gaurd!







These are some previews on how it will look!!

Now the steps!!

Root Required!!!

Steps:-

1.Download 'softbutton.zip' and place it in root of sd card i.e not in any folder!

2.Switch off the phone!

3.Go to recovery mode by holding volume up+home+power button simultaneously!

4.Select update from sd card and select CWM.zip!

5.Select apply update from sd card & install from sd card & select softbuttons.zip!

5.Reboot the phone!!

After reboot you can see a new app in your app list called virtual button bar! Activate it and customise it! Tick proximity sensor so that you can use it at ease!

It is called Flash Transfer!! You can send any type of files to your friends with more than 1mbps speed!! Doesnot require internet too!! But the app needs to be installed in your friends android phone! No root or anything required!

The working is simple! It uses wifi tether and wifi of your phone to transfer files @rapid speed!!

Steps to use:-
*Download and install the app from the link in your phone and friends phone!

*Open the app from the mobile through which you want to send files!

*Add data to your profile (no net or registration required!) & go to connect to friends! Click on create group! This will switch on wifi tether on your phone!

*Open the app in your friends phone and click on connect to friends and click on join group! This will switch on wifi in the phone!

*It will show some results! You will get your name shown there with caption click to join! Click on it! In both phone you will get a notification connected!!

*Now in your phone select the file and it will be sent in seconds!!







This is helpful in sending bulk files in seconds or sending to bulk people simultaneosly!!

Reverse Tethering -Use your PC internet in mobile without wifi box!!

Yes it is now possible to use your Pc internet in your smartphone! Its just that, this thing needs a rooted phone! Its easy and you just have to follow it carefully!!

What is Reverse Tethering?

Reverse tethering is a process that
allows your android phone to
connect to the internet of PC using
USB. The process is reverse of USB
tethering, that�s why it is known as
Reverse Tethering.

Requirements:-

1.) Rooted Android Phone with
Superuser installed.
2.) A desktop or laptop with
working internet connection.
3.) USB drivers of your Android
Phone.

Steps For Reverse Tethering
1.) Enable USB debugging in your
Android Phone by going
Settings>Application>
Development>USB Debugging.

2.) Install the drivers of your
android phone and connect it to
your PC with USB.
(download from Here if you dont have) 22mb

3.) Download latest Reverse
Tethering Package by clicking
following link

4.) Extract the downloaded package
in a folder.

5.) Now navigate inside the
extracted folder and you will see a
file named as AndroidTool.exe.

6.) Run AndroidTool.exe and click
on Refresh Button that will be
given in front of Select a device.

will be shown in the spinner in
front of Select a device. Choose
your Android device from there.

8.) After you select your device in
the spinner. Just click on connect.
This will install the required files
needed for reverse tethering in
your android phone.

9.) Now superuser will ask you for
your permissions to use USB
tunnel. Just allow this.
10.) If this prompt will not come
by itself just open the USB Tunnel
application installed on your
phone. It will now ask for
superuser permissions.
Now if all goes right you will be
able to Share PC Internet
Connection and access on your
android phone.

Recover deleted photos without root!

Yes, you can recover deleted files without rooting using simple apps which are not officially made to recover files!!! You need to have audio manager pre-installed in your phone before your files get deleted!!

Only on galaxygamerzone!!

what you need??

*audio manager ( here )

*file manager (if you dont have download one)

Steps:-

First download and install audio manager. Actually audio manager is an app to save hidden files , images , audio , videos. It stores images in the .bin format. You can recall that you have seen .bin extension in your computer right? Now complete the password process and all. Now open a file manager ( Samsung users using my files have to go to settings in my files and tick show hidden files).
Now go to program data => android => language => .fr=> pictures => thumbnails. Delete all of them. Now go to audio manager. Unlock it. Go to pictures and wola!! All (almost all) your deleted pictures are in that folder. Now unhide the pics you want and delete the unwanted!!

Root users download Diskdigger from here!!

PC users download Data Recovery to recover through PC!!

STEPS:-
First of all download the latest version of chainfire 3d from blackmart app (recommended) that we suggested before ( click here ) or get it from here . Download the plugins from here . It is in rar format so you need a computer or a unraring app like easy unrar is required. Extract it and place anywhere in memory card.

Install the apk & open it.

Select install drivers. Now it will ask to reboot. Select yes.

After reboot, open the app and select install plugins. It will scan your memory card and will show three plugins viz. nvidia, powervr, qualcomm. Select each and install it.

Thats it. Now you can play hd games in your phone using specified settings which will be provided in our posts on these games :-)
